Key Responsibilities:

 

Mutual Fund Research

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of mutual funds, including performance analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio composition.
• Stay updated with market trends and regulatory changes affecting mutual funds.
• Provide investment recommendations to the management team based on your research findings.

 

PMS & AIF Research

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).
• Evaluate the performance, risk, and compliance aspects of PMS and AIF offerings.
• Collaborate with the investment team to make informed investment decisions.

 

Brokerage Recording & Reconciliation

• Maintain accurate records of brokerage transactions related to mutual funds, PMS, and AIFs.
• Perform regular reconciliation of brokerage statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies promptly.

 

Operational Processes of PMS & AIFs

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end operational processes related to PMS and AIFs, including client onboarding, fund transfers, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with operations teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

 

Data Management

• Maintain comprehensive databases and documentation related to mutual funds, PMS, and AIFs.
• Prepare and update reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.

 

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA/CA preferred).
• SEBI certification or relevant qualifications will be an advantage.
• Proven experience in mutual fund research, PMS & AIF research, and operational processes.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and under tight deadlines.
